Dos and donts

 

Hey kids, dear parents!

Now that you are a part of the agency Model Pool Kids, our bookers will propose you to our customers and future job offers. The following important information will explain to you how our agency works and hopefully create a pleasing and successful collaboration.

 

Options 

When I call you about a job, it is firstly always an enquiry, which means the customer has made a choice of possible kids, that would fit the project and now wants to know if they are available for the planned date. If you confirm your availability, you are about to give your first option. This first option can be cancelled by the customer until the night before the shooting at the latest and also can least until that date. Therefore I would also advice you not to make any other arrangements for these dates and to keep them free, because sudden changes could occur.  If a final booking is set, you will receive a phone call from me immediately, as well as an email with all necessary information and a confirmation of booking.

 

Booking confirmed, but child became ill 

Dear parents, if your child gets ill after receiving the confirmation of booking, please inform me immediately (even after working hours or in the early morning) by calling me on my cell phone (0177-3338555). As early as I get to know about it the easier it will be to arrange a substitute. I will also need a medical certificate to prevent any complications with the customer.

 

Always provide current data 

Any changes of the child (including skin rash, scratches, bruises, grazes), but most of all haircut, length of the hair need to be reported. Please inform me right away or send new pictures. Regarding data as height, clothing and shoe size, I will contact you regularly. I would be pleased if you would inform me about any other important changes so that the data on the sedcard remains up to date. This is a very important criterion for our customers and for the bookings. Unlike to adults who will have to introduce themselves to the customers, children are booked directly by their sedcard.

 

Perfect shots   

I am very happy to receive new pictures, but it is crucial that the child is on the picture alone. The picture has to be clear, without any household articles in the background. Please do not sent me pictures with too much naked skin (such as bathing suit, bikini, bathing trunks or underwear), only if it is required by the customer for a certain project. The pictures should be exposed properly and should not be too dark. The face has to be clearly visible, it would be best if it is taken really nearly. The better the pictures the higher is the chance to be actually picked by a customer. We also offer the possibility to let professional pictures be taken by our own photographer.

 


On set

 

How do I behave at a shooting? Basically one person can be brought to the set!!! A lot of people will be involved in this project on this day and so it is not desirable to bring the whole family or friends along. Usually the child will get the outfit and get dressed by the stylist. For younger children it might be better if the accompanying person helps the child to get dressed. According to the age of the child it is also advisable to leave the set. Please ask where you can sit down and where you will not bother the people who are working. Older children could be left alone at the set for a couple of hours, after you have made sure that everything is working out the proper way. Maybe your child will be more relaxed at a shooting when you are not around the whole time.

 

 

Never ever

All financial issues as well as information about publication of the pictures have to be discussed with the agency and never with the client! I would also be thankful if you would not give any private information as address or phone number or email to the client.

 

 

Accounting

The fee will be paid to the model as soon as the customer has paid the invoice amount. There is a term of payment set for 14 days but usually it will take longer until we receive the amount on our account. Therefore we are very sorry if it takes longer and sometimes even up to three months to pay. You can contact us of course and ask for information, but please never call the customer directly and also not the studio as they are normally not involved in the payment process.
